Account Manager

Join an industry leader in the online marketing space, and help manage our growing advertiser / lender network. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual with a background in business, marketing, and/or advertising.

** This is a full time, permanent position working standard business hours in our Santa Monica office. We’re not interested in outsourcing this work. **

What we’ll be asking you to do:

  • Manage productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned client accounts
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and client expectations
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assigned accounts
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs on an ongoing basis
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with clients
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives

Qualified Applicants have:

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize on the fly
  • Organizational ability
  • Ability to assess, analyze, and report on data
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of organizations
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adept fluency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Some travel expected to conferences and meetings

Required Education and Experience:

  • Two to five years of experience in account management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, or other relevant area preferred
  • Experience in financial services preferred
  • Experience in consultative sales preferred
  • Experience managing multiple accounts
  • Experience in lead generation and online marketing preferred
